Ir. M.B. (Koos) Plaggenborg is a sworn Dutch and European patent attorney. He has been active in the field since 1993 and has specific technical experience in mechanical engineering, construction, civil engineering, process technology, and chemistry. Additionally, he has handled infringement cases and oppositions in the Netherlands and Europe.

During his career as a patent attorney, he has protected both general and highly specialized techniques. He has assisted multinational corporations, universities, SMEs, and private inventors with drafting and filing patent applications in the Netherlands and Europe, and far beyond. These inventions regularly appear in trade journals and shops.

Dutch, European, and International (PCT) patent applications are filed and handled directly by our patent attorney. For foreign national patent applications, Octrooibureau Novopatent B.V. has a large network of foreign patent attorneys who represent clients before the relevant national Patent Offices.
